This section is basically to discuss some aspects of science that may be slightly contentious. Certain stances have been taken by the scientific establishment which may be open to discussion. Subjects such as Theories of Relativity, Speed of Light, the Universe and Climate Change, to name but a few.
I don’t wish to be pedantic about these subjects, but it is interesting to have another look at some of the topics from a slightly different viewpoint. I have tried discussing relativity with advocates of this way of thinking, but mostly, they refuse to discuss the subject. This has been the case throughout history when the views of the establishment have been challenged. Over the years, the establishment has thought that the world was flat, the sun went round the earth and that there had never been ice-ages, even though the evidence said otherwise.
Now I wish to take a look at some alternative thinking on some current topics and would welcome constructive feedback from anyone wishing to give it. Please note that this section is under constant construction and some topics may not yet have been covered.
The topics so far are:- Relativity, Speed of Light, Universe and Climate Change. I don’t suppose we’ll come to any firm conclusions, but I think these topics should be discussed with an open mind (if such a thing is possible).
